Walk-in installation concept · Interactive 3D demo

Real-timeAirshipSimulator

A walk-in airship pavilion on festival grass. Inside, a shared panoramic journey makes the room feel airborne. Proposed live aerial capture would connect the experience to the festival around it.

Fly above the festival. Stay on the ground.

Step aboard

Stand on the observation deck.

Explore the proposed room: a circle of couches under a glowing ring, with panoramic screens showing the simulated grounds. This browser demo renders a fictional festival; physical live capture is a later workstream. Give it a spin.

And it plays both ways: the same band of screens wraps the outside of the hull, so the crowd on the grass watches the exact view the guests inside are flying through. The ship is a show even for people who never board.

The Experience

From the grass to the sky in five steps.

A proposed journey aboard the grounded ship. Illustrative timestamps leave room for boarding and reset within the planning cycle; pacing and throughput must be tested.

  1. 01

    Approach

    T+00:00

Guests cross the field toward a glowing airship parked on the grass, lit like it just landed.

  2. 02

    Board

    T+01:30

They step into a curved cabin of warm light, instrument panels, and low engine hum.

  3. 03

    Lift

    T+03:00

The screens wake. The field drops away and the festival spreads out beneath them.

  4. 04

    Float

    T+05:00

They drift above stages, crowds, and campsites as the desert turns to night.

  5. 05

    Return

    T+09:00

The screens bring the view back to the grass. The host guides guests out, and the next boarding cycle begins.

The Feeling

One room, one shared lift-off.

The proposed journey begins with a group boarding a grounded cabin. The lights drop to instrument glow, the screen horizon rises, and the people around you become part of the show. The guest study will test whether that shared feeling lands.

The intended feeling: a slow, giddy lift shared with the people beside you, the crowd below turning into rivers of light.

  1. 01

    The hush

A host introduces the journey and comfort options. The cabin light dims to amber and an engine hum sets the scene, with exits available throughout.

  2. 02

    The lift

The screen horizon rises and the field appears to fall away. A slow, stable ascent aims to evoke flight; pacing and comfort will be tested with guests.

  3. 03

    The pointing

Your campsite. The wheel. The stage you just left. The intended moment is a room full of people recognizing the festival around them from a new perspective.

  4. 04

    The return

The grass rises to meet you, the doors open, and the group that boarded as strangers walks out comparing photos.

INSIDE THE SHIP

The command deck of the festival.

Every screen and readout on board is live theater. Guests don't watch the festival - they monitor it, tracking crowd rivers, stage signals, and emotional weather from 1,240 simulated feet above the polo field.
